Choose sources, create legal work, and return to it in My work.
1. Organise your sources
Create a collection in Sources
A collection groups the documents for a course, topic or assignment. Use Sources to organise your collections and preview their preserved text.
Add official texts or your own documents
Search the Official library, paste a judgment webpage URL, or upload a saved HTML/HTM webpage. Review the stored text before relying on a source.
2. Create or write
Choose the sources for your work
In Create, select a collection and the sources you want to use. Request a case, a cas pratique or a syllogism. The selected sources define the legal material available for that work.
Read and write side by side
Choose Continue writing on a judgment in Sources, or Open in writing on an exercise. Search the source, quote a passage, and write your analysis or response. Title your draft so you can find it again.
3. Practise and continue
Practise privately or join a session
Respond to an exercise, practise a simulated hearing, or browse published work in Explore. Join session opens a shared hearing using its session ID and passcode. Review source limitations before starting.
Resume everything in My work
My work brings together writing, saved exercises, creation drafts, hearings and hosted sessions. Continue your work, review available feedback, or manage a draft. Publishing is a separate review step; private drafts are not shared automatically.
A few useful distinctions
Sources is your document home. A collection is a group of sources. The Official library contains preserved official texts you can add to a collection.
Create prepares cases and exercises. Writing is a private document where you develop your own analysis or response.
Explore contains published work. My work contains your private work and the sessions you host. A published copy stays separate from later draft edits.
